Amanda studied massage therapy in Costa Rica in 2016 where she trained mainly in western techniques, myofascial/trigger point therapy, and therapeutics. Amanda blends these modalities, some eastern techniques, and intuitive components that create a unique massage intended to relieve pain while inviting relaxation/restoration.
During her training, Amanda took particular interest in orthopedic injuries and maintains a continuing curiosity in repairing the body through massage. She is a recent graduate of Anatomy Trains Structural Integration, and currently working on her certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques.
Amanda’s additional experience with massage, yoga, and the body include:
Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, human studies
Several yoga instructor certifications:

40-Hour Trauma Sensitive Yoga Certification
60-Hour Kripalu Yoga in Schools Certification

Amanda is a lifelong student and adventurer. She spent a year working on a small-ship cruise line off the west coast following humpback whales from Hawaii to Alaska, taught English in South Korea, spent a summer exploring Europe, vacationed six weeks in Indonesia and Vietnam, among other escapades. She most recently visited Thailand and was enamored by the Khao Sok National Park.
Amanda spent the COVID year(s) as an AEMT and a firefighter in northern NH, but now happily spends her time with family pursuing her passions - massage and structural integration - whilst settling into home life where growing orchids is her delight.
